Itinerary
Day 1 — Ulaanbaatar → Kharkhorin
Distance: Vehicle transfer + approx. 40–60 km cycling / Overnight: Ger accommodation
- Transfer toward Kharkhorin
- Begin cycling in the Central Mongolian steppe
- Open dirt roads and valleys
- Erdene Zuu / Kharkhorin
Day 2 — Kharkhorin → Tövkhön
Distance: Approx. 50–60 km cycling / Overnight: Ger/camp
- Dirt and jeep tracks
- Mountain valleys
- Forest sections
- Climbing toward Tövkhön
- Tövkhön Monastery
Day 3 — Tövkhön → Orkhon Valley
Distance: Approx. 45–60 km cycling / Overnight: Overnight in the valley
- Mountain riding
- Descents into the Orkhon Valley
- Open grassland
- Rivers and nomadic camps
Day 4 — Orkhon Valley → Orkhon Waterfall
Distance: Approx. 40–50 km cycling / Overnight: Relaxed evening in a ger
- Off-road riding through the valley
- Ulaan Tsutgalan / Orkhon Waterfall
- Nomadic family visit
- Traditional dairy/food experience
Day 5 — Orkhon Valley → Ulaanbaatar
Distance: Approx. 40–60 km cycling + vehicle transfer / Overnight: Tour ends in Ulaanbaatar
- Final morning ride
- Open steppe and valley tracks
- Finish cycling section
- Vehicle transfer back to Ulaanbaatar
Support
Guide and support vehicle included, with basic mechanical support throughout. Vehicle transfers are used to and from the cycling sections — this is not five consecutive full-distance riding days.
